Along the way......
This image represents the largest church in South America, painted during the colonial times by a slave on the walls of a property falling apart. In spite of earthquakes and numerous attempts to erase it, the miraculous image has stayed intact. Since then, thousands and thousands of faithful believers wearing purple garments sing and pray while accompanying the image of the “Cristo Moreno” during the procession.
