Along the way......
This itinerary has been specially created for honeymoon couples. Discover Peru through the main typical regions: the Amazonian forest and the Andean Cordillera. Accommodation has been finely selected in order to make your stay unforgettable.

Day 1 :LIMA / RECEPTION
Reception upon arrival at Jorge Chavez airport, in Lima. Transfer to the hotel. Meals open.
Day 2 : LIMA – PUERTO MALDONADO (BY PLANE) – LODGE / GROUP
Transfer to the airport for a flight with destination Puerto Maldonado, the getaway to Amazonia.
Reception and transfer to the Lodge located forty minutes away by boat.
In the afternoon, walk in the forest to familiarize ourselves with the local flora and fauna.
Later, nocturnal photo safari to observe caimans.

Day 3 : OBSERVATION OF PARROTS – MONKEY ISLAND – LAKE SANDOVAL / GROUP
In the early morning, observation of parrots that gather by the dozen, at the Collpa de los Loros.
Breakfast and then departure for Monkey Island.
Continuation by foot, for a 5-mile walk to Lake Sandoval to observe giant otters, kingfishers and even piranhas.
Night at the Lodge.
Day 4 : DAY IN THE JUNGLE AND RELAXATION / GROUP
Expedition in paddleboat on a small river that takes us deeper into the jungle. An opportunity to observe a great variety of tropical birds and fish.
Relaxation at the lodge in one of the hammocks of the terrace of the bungalow.
Night at the Lodge.
Day 5 : LODGE – PUERTO MALDONADO – CUZCO (BY PLANE) / GROUP
Open day.
Possibility to visit the fruit market of Puerto Maldonado, and then transfer to the airport.
Reception in Cuzco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 6 : CUZCO / HALF-DAY CITY TOUR
Half-day dedicated to the discovery of the ruins around Cuzco (Sacsayhuaman and Q’enqo), and of the historical center: Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the Cathedral, exhibiting some paintings from the School of Cuzco and many goldsmith’s art, silver and precious stones treasures.
Back to the hotel in Cuzco.
Meals open.
Day 7 : CUZCO – PISAC – MARAS - OLLANTAYTAMBO – SACRED VALLEY
In the morning, departure in a private vehicle for a day dedicated to the discovery of the Sacred Valley. First stop at the ruins of Pisac. Visit of the site and walk around the handicraft market.
Typical lunch and stop in a ceramic workshop in Urubamba (Ayllu if opens). Continuation of the journey to Maras: salt mines in the middle of the Cordillera! Walk down to the Urumbamba River where the vehicle awaits us.
Continuation to the Incan village of Ollantaytambo. Visit of the fortress. Lunch included. Dinner open.
Day 8 : SACRED VALLEY - OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUASCALIENTES (MACHU PICCHU)
In the morning, departure from Ollantaytambo train station for a journey to Aguascalientes.
Arrival at the end of the morning and move to the hotel.
Relaxation to enjoy the hot springs, have a walk to the Mandor Waterfall or even discover the exotic garden at Puente Ruinas.
In the afternoon, return to Aguascalientes.
Meals open.
Option: entrance fee to the waterfall and hot springs to be paid on location.

Day 9 : AGUASCALIENTES (DAY OPEN) – CUZCO
Day open to enjoy a second visit of the site if you wish to (shuttle service and entrance fee at your expense). Back to Cuzco in the afternoon. Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Suggestion: ascent of Huayna Picchu – make sure you wear comfortable shoes, do not carry too much weight, and hope you are not suffering from vertigo – or to La Puerta del Sol.
Note 1: train timetables to be communicated to visitors upon arrival in Cuzco.
Note 2: depending on availabilities, the return journey can be done by train to Ollantaytambo and then by private vehicle to Cuzco.
Day 10 : CUZCO – PUNO (TITICACA) / ANDES ORIENT EXPRESS TRAIN
Transfer to the Cuzco train station.
Departure for the long journey to Puno on the shore of Lake Titicaca, aboard the Orient Express train. Wonderful landscapes along the way.
Lunch included (aboard). Dinner open.
Note 1: the train operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from November to March.
From April to October, it also operates on Fridays. It makes no stops. As for the tourist bus, it operates every day and stops in several locations to allow visits.
Note 2: visitors are not accompanied by a guide on this train journey.
Note 3: journey in first class, ten hours of travel time.
Day 11 : PUNO – UROS – AMANTANI – SUASI (TITICACA)
In the morning, transfer to the port of Puno to embark for the islands of Uros and Amantani. After a 25-minute cruise, we visit of the floating islands. These islands are not natural; they have been built by the Uros tribe, whose main activity is fishing.
We then head for Amantani (around 2½-hour cruise).
Lunch at a local resident’s place.
In the afternoon, visit of sites dedicated to the Pachamama and the Pachapapa. At noon, transfer by boat to Suasi, a pristine area owned by the same family since the 19’s century. Settling in the hotel.
Meals included.
Day 12 : SUASI – CAMBRIA – MOHO - PUNO (TITICACA)
In the late morning, we leave Suasi Island by boat, to the small pier of Cambria. We then start our return trip to Puno in our private vehicle via the track skirting the lake.
We cross Quechua villages as well as the Aymaras villages of Moho, Huancane and Taraco.
Transfer to the hotel in Puno. End of the day open. Meals open.
Day 13 : PUNO - SILLUSTANI – JULIACA - LIMA (BY PLANE)
Transfer to the Juliaca’s airport for a flight to Lima, the Peruvian capital.
On the way, visit of the Chullpas of Sillustani, funerary towers circular in shape, built in stone, some of which exceeding twelve yards in height.
Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Meals open.

Day 14 : LIMA / INTERNATIONAL RETURN FLIGHT
Three hours before take-off, transfer to Jorge Chavez airport in Lima.
Connection with the international return flight.
