Day by day…
Peru is known for its archaeological wealth, but Peru also has another great treasure – its natural environment. The Andes, which run north to south, are a paradise for travellers.
Whether you choose the Huayhuash mountain range, considered one of the most beautiful in the world, or the Vilcanota, where the mystic Salkantay Mountain and its snow-capped peaks tower over the Sacred Valley of the Incas, everybody will be delighted by the beautiful landscapes, all of them rich in colour and history.
Every traveller to Peru must make a stop at Lake Titicaca. This is the cradle of the Tawantinsuyo Empire and where the first Incas were born. Today, the insular people of the region still live here, preserving ancient Andean customs.
