Coporaque
Only 8 kilometers away from Chivay, this village is opening to fair tourism, offering nights with the locals. At the heart of the Indian territory of Collaguas, the villagers have inherited from an age-old civilization, which knew how to cultivate the arid landscapes. One of its activity is the culture of cochenille, little insect producing a wonderful natural red colour.

Canyon de Colca
Four hours away northern from Arequipa, the impressive Colca's Valley offers wonderful landscapes, surrounded by terraces. 3400m deep into the Canyon, the Colca river is snaking, transforming the Canyon into one of the deepest in the World. Numerous villages there have kept their original features, like the lining position of their streets, their churches from the Colonial time and their traditional celebrations. The highlight of the Canyon is obviously the Condor's Cross, a natural view point from which you can observe the Condors, while perceiving in the background the Volcanos Coropuna and Ampato.

Cruz del Condor
The place called « La Cruz del Condor” is the best spot to observe Condors flying from the bottom of the canyon.
