An exceptional program, perfect for those wanting a first-class experience on a glacier while acclimatizing before moving to the more technical summits.

Day 1 : HUARAZ – HUILLAC – BASE CAMP (ISHINCA)

In the morning, journey by vehicle to Huillac, departure point of the hike.
Walk to the base camp at the base of Ishinca, at an altitude of 4350 m.a.s.l. / 14,271 feet). Magnificent sunset over the Cordillera and Tocllaraju. Night at the camp.
Hiking time: 5 to 6 hours; Elevation gain: + 850 m (2,788 feet).

Day 2 : ASCENT OF ISHINCA (el. 5530 m.a.s.l. / 18,143 feet)

At dawn, departure for the ascent of Ishinca, at an altitude of 5530 m.a.s.l. / 18,143 feet). Night at the base camp.
Hiking time: 10 to 11 hours; Elevation gain: 1180 m (3,871 feet) / - 1180 m (3,871 feet).

Day 3 : HUILLAC – HUARAZ

Descent to Huillac. Transfer to the hotel in Huaraz.
Hiking time: 3 to 4 hours; Distance: 6.8 miles; Elevation gain: - 850 m (2,788 feet).
