Day by day…
This is the most popular walk in the Cordillera Blanca…. However in peak season (July and August) we recommend other treks (Mini Huayhuash and Discovering the Path) that are also incredible hikes, but less well-known.
Day 1: HUARAZ – YANAMA (3400 M) - QUEBRADA HUARIPAMPA (4200 M)
On Day 1 we will travel by bus to Yanama where we will start the trekking.
This day is dedicated to exploring the Huaripampa valley as we make our 5 to 6-hour hike through it. We will camp at night.
Altitude Change: +800/-200 meters
Distance: 15 km; Duration: 5 to 6 hours
Day 2: HUARIPAMPA – TAULLIPAMPA CAMP (4150 M)
On Day 2 we will hike for 5 to 6 hours to the Taullipampa camp passing the clearing at Punta Unión at 4760 m.a.s.l. and from where we will have a spectacular view of the snow-capped peaks of the Taullirajús, Artesonrajú, and Pucahirca mountains. We will make camp at Taullipampa for the night.
Altitude Change: + 560 meters / -610 meters
Distance: 9 km; Duration: 5 to 6 hours
Day 3: TAULLIPAMPA CAMP – LLAMACORRAL (3800 M)
On Day 3 we will make an 6-hour trek to Llamacorral, where will visit two very impressive lagoons. We will camp at night.

Distance: 15 km; Duration: 6 hours
Day 4: LLAMACORRAL – CASHAPAMPA – HUARAZ
On Day 4 we will hike for 3 hours to Cashapampa, where will travel by bus to Huaraz.

Included:
Transport and subsequent transfers from your hotel in Huaraz, English speaking guide, food during the treks, hiking and mountain equipment (tents, camping equipment, ropes, ice-picks, snow-brushes, first-aid kit), transport of collective equipment (by mules and porters).
Not Included:
International flight; Bus trip Lima-Huaraz; Hotels in Huaraz; Entrance fees to national parks and museums in Huaraz; Airport tax ($28 per person); Food purchases in restaurants in Huaraz and in the towns not included in the trek (food costs approximately $8 per person in a good restaurant). Personal equipment is also NOT included, such as a sleeping bag rated to –10˚ C; Mattresses; Hiking/Walking shoes; Helmut with light; Pick; Crampons, etc. These items CAN be rented.
