Cusco
Cusco
Cusco originates from the word Q’osqo – Quechua for “navel of the world”. Cusco was the capital of the Inca Empire – the Tawantinsuyo civilization – and is without a doubt, one of the most fascinating cities in Peru. The City’s architecture, an amazing contrast of colonial Spanish built over Inca foundations gives Cusco its unique beauty and characteristic “Mestizo” heritage.
