Uros

The floating Islands Uros are a group of artificial islands, made of totoras reeds, which grow in the lake. The activities of its inhabitants, the Uros, are based on fishing, hunting birds, living from the various plants that grow in the lake, like the totora, which is used for the construcion of their ships, houses and the foundation of the islands.
