- International Driving license / permit for hiring vehicles

Overland Expedition (overland):
Nights on the Antiplano can get cold in June and in September on the Cordillera.
- Backpack
- Good sleeping bag
- Torch (preferably frontal) and re-chargeable batteries
- Warm clothes
- Walking shoes
- Sun protection cream
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Personal pharmacy

Trekking in the Cordillera:
From April to December nights can be cold. Days are generally sunny.
- Personal backpack and a sailors type bag for the mules to carry
- Good sleeping bag
- Torch (preferably frontal) and re-chargeable batteries
- Warm clothes
- Walking shoes
- Sun protection cream
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Personal pharmacy
- Groundsheet
- Walking sticks (can be rented)

High Mountains Areas:
From May to October:
- Polar neck jumper
- Waterproof anorak (Gore-Tex)
- Walking shoes
- Clothes
- Backpack
- Cap
- Snow goggles
- Frontal torch (please note that flat batteries cannot be found in Peru)
- Water bottle
- High protection sun cream
- Mountain socks
- Mountain sleeping bag (resistant to temperatures of 15°C)
- Groundsheet
- Technical Equipment : shoulder belt, ice axe, coques plastiques, clamps, garters (can be rented in Huaraz or Cusco)

Sierra
Very nice climate outside of rainy season (December to March)
- Mosquito repellent (can be bought on site)
- Sun protection cream for sensitive skin
- Warm clothes for the evenings

Jungle
Rainy season from December to March
- Long trousers
- Lightweight shirt with long sleeves
- Dark coloured clothes
- Closed in shoes
- Cap with a visor
- Sunglasses
- Waterproof (anorak)
- Mosquito repellent
- Yellow fever vaccine
- Anti-Malaria treatment / medication
