Along the way…
The Amazon offers a fabulous world to discover. In Peru, the tropical forest covers practically half the country. The utterly spellbinding world of the Amazon is better discovered with a guide to insure security while exploring its flora and fauna. This three-day program allows you to relax and discover the nature, while enjoying a beautiful Lodge, on the banks of the Madre de Dios River, surrounded by jungle and close to Puerto Maldonado.
Day 1 :
Transfer to the airport for a flight with destination Puerto Maldonado, the getaway to Amazonia. Reception and transfer to the Lodge, located forty minutes away by boat. In the afternoon, walk in the forest to discover the local flora and fauna. Later, nocturnal photo safari to observe caimans. Please note: visitors are not accompanied by a guide on this flight. Timetable and specific airline details to be communicated to visitors upon arrival in Peru.
Day 2 :
Excursion to Lake Sandoval to spot giant otters, kingfishers and even piranhas. Later, nocturnal photo safari to observe caimans. Night at the Lodge.
Day 3 :
After breakfast, transfer to the airport of Puerto Maldonado for a flight with destination Lima or Cuzco. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
