Expedition from La Paz to Tierra del Fuego then from Tierra del Fuego to La Paz, road trip accross South America. Rather than a tourist tour, Transamerica is an authentic human adventure. What does adventure mean today? Presented in multiple aspects of marketing, frequently we ask ourselves where does the adventure reside in the booklets of glossy paper.

Limited to beautiful landscapes and to some slogans, it loses all its sense.
For us, adventure is nothing but a state of the mind, a desire to meet new experiences and a capacity to adapt oneself to the unforeseen, and by force to engagements, with balanced good humor and the enthusiasm of the traveler.
This does not mean to improvise when facing difficulties, or being unconscious when there is danger, on the contrary. It means anticipation, knowledge of a natural environment, and to be prepared, in order to enjoy privileged moments...

Transamerica is a most special voyage. It is not a well defined circuit with strict schedules. Of course on the paper we offer an ideal program "day by day". That is the main line of our voyage. The only fixed dates are the ones of the main stages (every 10 days more or less - in blue on the day by day).

The team of Terra Andina has already made this voyage in 1998, 2002, 2003 and 2004. The team offers to the group their experience, their equipment and their deep knowledge of South America.
However, the guide-client relationship becomes blurry and is replaced by a common adventure.
Passionately fond of adventure and of South American cultures, our guides only ask to be part of the voyage, like a reward after a long season. To the discovery of new horizons...
